Wyoming Wants To Strike Extra-Record Materials In Federal Fracking Lease Case

(January 12, 2024, 8:09 AM EST) -- CHEYENNE, Wyo. — The state of Wyoming has filed a reply brief in Wyoming federal court arguing that it should strike and/or exclude extra-record submissions made by the U.S. Department of the Interior (DOI) in the ongoing battle over the agency’s failure to conduct mineral lease sales for hydraulic fracturing in the third and fourth quarters of 2022.  The state says the DOI incorrectly argues that no record exists to review the pause of lease sales....
