Hellerstein of the Southern District of New York on Aug. 2 rejected an attempt by the owners of the long-term leases of the World Trade Center Properties to obtain a portion of their insurers’ $1.2 billion settlement with the aviation companies involved (In Re September 11 Litigation, No. 21 MC 101, S.D.
