Noncompete Provision Enforced; Preliminary Injunction Issued In Franchise Dispute

(July 14, 2020, 9:59 AM EDT) -- MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A Tennessee federal judge on July 10 granted a plaintiff’s motion for a preliminary injunction to enforce a noncompete provision in a franchise agreement after determining that the franchisor met its burden of showing that the noncompete provision is  reasonable and that it will be irreparably harmed without a preliminary injunction (AmeriSpec LLC v.
