Mealey's (September 16, 2019, 12:08 PM EDT) -- CHICAGO — A federal judge in Illinois on Sept. 4 held that an underlying putative class action alleging financial loss based on the insured’s practice of charging hidden fees to vending-machine credit or debit card customers fails to trigger coverage under commercial general liability and commercial umbrella insurance policies that were issued to the insured, granting the insurer’s motion for summary judgment in its declaratory judgment lawsuit disputing coverage (AMCO Insurance Company v.
