House Approves Bill To Make Tribal Foster Care Background Checks Uniform

Mealey's (June 24, 2015, 10:05 AM EDT) -- WASHINGTON, D.C. — The U.S. House of Representatives on June 1 approved the Native American Children’s Safety Act, H.R. 1168, which provides uniform foster care background checks for tribal courts placing Native American children into foster care.
