States Move To Dismiss Appeal Of Federal Fracking Case In Light Of Recent Ruling
(June 27, 2016, 2:09 PM EDT) -- DENVER — A group of states contesting the federal government’s fracking regulations on June 24 moved in the 10th Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals to dismiss the government’s appeal of a district court ruling that recently held that the U.S. Bureau of Land Management (BLM) lacks the congressional authority to pass the regulations in question (State of Wyoming, et al. v. Sally Jewell, et al., Nos. 15-8126 and 15-8134, 10th Cir.).
