Judge: Fracking Company Must Pay $194,189.44 To Drilling Company For Breach

Mealey's (June 18, 2015, 4:05 PM EDT) -- COLUMBUS, Ohio — A federal judge in Ohio on Aug. 26, 2014, ordered a hydraulic fracturing company to pay $194,389.44 to a drilling company for breach of contract and indemnification related to contamination of soil and groundwater from gas well operations in West Virginia (Warren Drilling Inc. v. Equitable Production Co., No. 12-425, S.D. Ohio).
