Federal Judge Trims Claims In Securities Class Action Lawsuit
(May 23, 2016, 11:30 PM EDT) -- OAKLAND, Calif. — A federal judge in California substantially denied a motion to dismiss in a securities class action lawsuit on May 16, ruling that a retirement system has properly pleaded its federal securities law claims against a majority of defendants (Viswanath V. Shankar v. Imperva Inc., et al., No. 14-1680, N.D. Calif.; 2016 U.S. Dist. LEXIS 64360).
