Judge Dismisses Civil Rights Lawsuit Over Delayed Water Right Amendment
(May 9, 2016, 2:00 PM EDT) -- SACRAMENTO, Calif. — A California federal judge on May 5 dismissed with prejudice a lawsuit by two property owners who claim that they were unconstitutionally prosecuted for water law violations and in getting their state water license amended (Irvine H. Leen, et al. v. Harold M. Thomas, et al., No. 12-1627, E.D. Calif.; 2016 U.S. Dist. 60083).
