California State Water Board OKs Voluntary Riparian Water Right Cut-Backs

Mealey's (June 18, 2015, 12:54 PM EDT) -- SACRAMENTO, Calif. — California’s State Water Resources Control Board on May 22 said it approved a proposal from riparian water right holders in the Sacramento-San Joaquin River Delta to voluntarily cut back water use in exchange for assurances that they will not face further riparian curtailments during the June to September growing season.
