Final Report Upholding New York State Fracking Ban Released

Mealey's (June 18, 2015, 11:38 AM EDT) -- ALBANY, N.Y. — The New York Department of Environmental Conservation (DEC) on May 13 released its final supplemental generic environmental impact statement (SGEIS) on hydraulic fracturing, saying it agreed with the conclusion previously reached by the state Department of Health (DOH) that fracking should be banned in the state.
