Oklahoma Governor Signs Law Prohibiting Fracking Bans

Mealey's (June 18, 2015, 11:35 AM EDT) -- OKLAHOMA CITY — Oklahoma Gov. Mary Fallin on June 1 signed a law that establishes the Oklahoma Corporation Commission as the “sole regulator” of the state’s oil and gas industry and prohibits local municipalities from passing bans on hydraulic fracturing operations.
