Resident Opposing Fracking Well Permit Did Not Act In Good Faith, Agency

Mealey's (June 18, 2015, 10:52 AM EDT) -- HARRISBURG, Pa. — The Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) on April 14 filed a brief with the Pennsylvania Environmental Hearing Board (EHB) opposing a motion to compel discovery filed by a resident who challenges the DEP’s decision to approve a well permit for a hydraulic fracturing company on grounds that the resident did not act in good faith (Laurence Harvilchuck v. Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, Department of Environmental Protection and WPX Energy Appalachia LLC, EHB Docket No. 2014-046-M, Pa. EHB.).
