Oregon Federal Judge Rejects Borrower’s Claim That Modification Denial Was Biased
(April 11, 2016, 9:57 AM EDT) -- PORTLAND, Ore. — An Oregon federal judge on April 1 denied with prejudice a third amended complaint filed by a borrower who claimed that multiple denials of her requests for modification of her home loan were caused by racial discrimination (Rosa Colquitt v. Manufacturers and Traders Trust Company [a Foreign Business Corporation] doing business as M&T Bank, No. 15-807, D. Ore.; 2016 U.S. Dist. LEXIS 44399).
