Energy Groups: Federal Rules On Fracking ‘Deficient,’ Should Be Ruled ‘Invalid’

Mealey's (June 18, 2015, 9:58 AM EDT) -- CHEYENNE, Wyo. — The Independent Petroleum Association of America (IPAA) and the Western Energy Alliance (WEA) on March 20 filed a lawsuit against the U.S. Bureau of Land Management (BLM) in Wyoming federal court opposing new regulations pertaining to hydraulic fracturing on federal lands instituted by the U.S. Department of the Interior (DOI) (Independent Petroleum Association of America, et al. v. Sally Jewell, No. 15-00041, D. Wyo.).
