6th Circuit Shortens Period For Rehearing Petitions For Clean Water Rule
(March 17, 2016, 3:08 PM EDT) -- CINNCINNATI — Saying that jurisdiction over the Clean Water Rule is of “national importance,” the Sixth Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals on March 16 shortened the time period for parties to seek a rehearing of the court’s Feb. 22 panel ruling in the matter (In Re: United States Department of Defense, et al., Murray Energy Corporation, et al. v. United States Department of Defense, et al., Nos. 15-3751, et al., 6th Cir.).
