Claimant Failed To File Suit Within 3-Year Limitations Period, Panel Affirms
(March 11, 2016, 10:16 AM EST) -- RICHMOND, Va. — The Fourth Circuit U.S. Circuit of Appeals on Feb. 17 affirmed that a disability claimant’s suit was properly dismissed because the claimant failed to file suit within the applicable three-year limitations period (Deborah A. Hyatt v. Prudential Insurance Company of America, et al., No. 14-2305, 4th Cir.; 2016 U.S. App. LEXIS 2676).
