Colorado Federal Judge: Copyright Claims Over Manners Lessons Fail

(March 9, 2016, 2:39 PM EST) -- DENVER — Despite finding “overwhelming evidence” of copying, a Colorado federal judge on March 7 nonetheless dismissed copyright infringement claims levied in connection with a collection of lessons on manners intended for children (Civility Experts Worldwide v. Molly Manners LLC, No. 15-521, D. Colo.; 2016 U.S. Dist. LEXIS 287).
