New York Appellate Panel Affirms Summary Judgment In Wrongful Death Suit

(March 8, 2016, 8:43 AM EST) -- NEW YORK — A New York appellate panel on Feb. 24 upheld summary judgment for three medical centers and a doctor in a wrongful death suit after finding that the evidence showed that a man’s death was inevitable based on his medical conditions (Esther Novick v. South Nassau Communities Hospital, et al., No. 2013-07515, N.Y. Sup., App. Div., 2nd Dept.; 2016 N.Y. App. Div. LEXIS 1290).
