(March 7, 2016, 2:46 PM EST) -- EUGENE, Ore. — An Oregon federal magistrate judge on March 3 granted a motion by the State of Oregon to appear as amicus curiae in a case involving the management of water by the federal government and its effect on the Oregon spotted frog (Center for Biological Diversity, et al. v. U.S. Bureau of Reclamation, et al., No. 15-2358, D. Ore.).
