9th Circuit Upholds Fisheries Opinion Affecting California’s Central Valley

Mealey's (June 17, 2015, 11:53 AM EDT) -- SAN FRANCISCO — A panel of the Ninth Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals on Dec. 22 upheld a federal biological opinion that recommends changes in water pumping from rivers in California’s Central Valley (San Luis & Delta-Mendota Water Authority, et al. v. Gary Locke, Nos. 12-15144, 12-15289, 12-15290, 12-15291, 12-15293, 12-15296, 9th Cir.; 2014 U.S. App. LEXIS 24351).
