Indian Tribe Tells Judge ACA Regulations Ignore Congress’ Intent

Mealey's (June 17, 2015, 10:38 AM EDT) -- CHEYENNE, Wyo. — Government regulations ignore Congress’ intent and effectively block Native Americans from Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (ACA) benefits, a tribe told a federal judge in Wyoming in an April 30 memo (Northern Arapaho Tribe, et al. v. Sylvia Burwell, et al., No. 14-247, D. Wyo.; 2015 U.S. Dist. LEXIS 30480).
