Parties In San Francisco Bay Tainted Groundwater Case Agree On Testing Procedure

(February 1, 2016, 8:53 AM EST) -- SAN FRANCISCO — The parties contesting liability regarding groundwater contamination connected to manufactured gas plant (MGP) waste in the San Francisco Bay Area on Jan. 19 reached an agreement with the defendant under which the defendant will cease destructive testing of water and soil samples and allow the plaintiffs’ consultants the opportunity to observe and participate in any future testing (San Francisco Herring Association, et al. v. Pacific Gas & Electric Company, No. 14-04393, N.D. Calif.).
