House Of Representatives In Florida Passes Bill Preempting Fracking Ordinances

(January 28, 2016, 3:11 PM EST) -- TALLAHASSEE, Fla. — The Florida House of Representatives on Jan. 27 passed a bill that preempts all existing ordinances and regulations pertaining to oil and gas exploration and development through hydraulic fracturing and gives those rights and powers to the state exclusively.
