Wyoming Irrigation District Appeals Verdict In Clean Water Act Trial

Mealey's (June 17, 2015, 9:21 AM EDT) -- DENVER — A Wyoming irrigation district on Dec. 2, 2014, appealed to the 10th Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals a verdict that it and its former manager violated the Clean Water Act (CWA) by constructing unauthorized dikes and dumping debris to the Wild River to change the course of the waterway (United States of America, et al. v. LeClair Irrigation District, et al., No. 10-93, 10th Cir.).
