Class Claims Struck In Former United Airlines Worker’s ADA Suit

Mealey's (February 27, 2020, 11:49 AM EST) -- CHICAGO — A former United Airlines Inc. worker who claims that he was the victim of discrimination when his employer failed to accommodate his disability by moving him to a sedentary job is unable to show that his claims brought on behalf of other workers who were able to find jobs elsewhere are entitled to class consideration, a federal judge in Illinois ruled Feb. 11, granting a motion to strike the class claims (Jose De Freitas v.
