Judge Reverses, Remands Agent Orange Benefits Case; Material Issues Not Addressed

(December 16, 2015, 1:36 PM EST) -- WASHINGTON, D.C. — A judge in the U.S. Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims on Dec. 1 reversed and remanded a woman’s claim for benefits related to her ex-husband’s death from lung cancer caused by exposure to Agent Orange, ruling that the Board of Veterans Affairs failed to “adequately address” material issues in the case (Johellen Compton-Cordo v. Robert A. McDonald, No. 15-0463, Vet. Clms.; 2015 U.S. App. Vet. Claims LEXIS 1645).
