New Mexico Federal Judge Declines To Transfer Dispute Over Hospital Funding

Mealey's (June 16, 2015, 4:06 PM EDT) -- ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — A federal judge in New Mexico on Feb. 5 declined to dismiss or transfer a dispute over the pulling of funding for a hospital providing health care services on the Navajo Reservation, saying that although many of the events giving rise to the dispute occurred in Arizona, the court the plaintiffs filed the case in was more convenient for the parties and for obtaining documents (Navajo Health Foundation — Sage Memorial Hospital Inc. v.
