Fracking Company: Evidence Lacking To Support $2.9M Verdict For Texas Couple

(November 23, 2015, 7:43 AM EST) -- DALLAS — The hydraulic fracturing company that is appealing a $2.9 million verdict against it filed a brief in Texas appeals court on Nov. 9, contending that there is no evidence that it intentionally created a private nuisance and that the plaintiffs cannot show that hazardous emissions invaded their property (Aruba Petroleum Inc. v. Lisa Parr, No. 05-14-01285, Texas App., 5th Dist.).
