Mealey's (July 12, 2019, 1:38 PM EDT) -- CHICAGO — A federal judge in Illinois on July 10 granted preliminary approval of a $17.85 million settlement to be paid by Wells Fargo Bank N.A. to end a class complaint accusing the financial institution of violating the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) by contacting numerous individuals via unwanted calls and texts (Joseph Dunn, et al. v. Wells Fargo Bank, N.A., No. 17-481, N.D. Ill.)....
