Pennsylvania Federal Judge Extends Discovery In Water Well Contamination Case

Mealey's (June 16, 2015, 2:50 PM EDT) -- SCRANTON, Pa. — The federal judge in the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania presiding over the lawsuit in which a group of residents contends that residential water wells were contaminated by hydraulic fracturing chemicals on May 21, 2014, approved a stipulation among the parties that extends Phase 1 fact discovery to July 25 (Susan Berish, et al. v. Southwestern Energy Production Co., et al., No. 10-1981, M.D. Pa.).
