Medical Exam Ordered In Oil Rig Case; Class Status Sought As Case Is Reassigned

(November 11, 2015, 2:13 PM EST) -- SAN FRANCISCO — The parties in a lawsuit alleging damages and injuries related to the explosion of a natural gas rig operated by Chevron Corp. in Nigeria stipulated to an independent medical examination of the only remaining plaintiff on Nov. 4 (Foster Ogola, et al. v. Chevron Corporation, No. 14-173, N.D. Calif.).
