Mealey's (April 3, 2019, 11:12 AM EDT) -- RIVERHEAD, N.Y. — The state of New York on March 28 filed a supplemental summons and amended complaint against 12 opioid manufacturers, eight members of the Sackler family that own Purdue Pharma L.P. and five drug distributors setting forth allegations based on what the state Attorney General’s Office says is the result of a “multi-year, industry-wide investigation” (New York, et al. v. Purdue Pharma L.P., et al., No. 400016/2018, N.Y. Sup., Suffolk Co.)....
