Panel: Property Representative Not Liable As An Owner For Lead-Paint Poisoning

(November 13, 2018, 1:47 PM EST) -- ANNAPOLIS, Md. — In an unpublished opinion, a panel of the Maryland Court of Special Appeals on Nov. 9 ruled that a man who was a representative for the owner of a property could not be held liable for a tenant’s lead-paint poisoning because the record does not show any evidence that the representative was involved in the day-to-day operations of the property (Markeys A.
