(September 28, 2018, 10:23 AM EDT) -- ALEXANDRIA, Va. — In a Sept. 26 petition for inter partes review (IPR), Facebook Inc. asserts that a patent relating to a system and method for presenting content over the World Wide Web would have been obvious in view of prior art, including a reference admitted by the patent owner while prosecuting other patents in the same patent family but never “substantively discussed” by an examiner (Facebook Inc. v. Hypermedia Navigation LLC, No. IPR2018-01809, PTAB)....
