Group: DuPont, Subsidiary Liable For Tainted Groundwater In North Carolina

FC LLC, a subsidiary of E.I. du Pont de Nemours and Co., in North Carolina federal court, contending that the company is liable for groundwater contamination as a result of releasing “hundreds of thousands of pounds” of toxic perfluoroalkyl and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS), including GenX, into the Cape Fear River (Cape Fear River Watch v.
