ACA Subsidy Challengers Tell Top Court Plain Text Supports Them

Mealey's (June 16, 2015, 9:03 AM EDT) -- WASHINGTON, D.C. — Congress clearly limited tax subsidies to state-exchange Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (ACA) enrollees, and any other interpretation of its language choices “makes no sense,” plaintiffs told the U.S. Supreme Court on Dec. 22 (David King, et al. v. Sylvia Mathew Burwell, et al., No. 14-114, U.S. Sup.).
