Judge: Insured Failed To Show Issues Of Material Fact In Making Bad Faith Claim

Mealey's (September 25, 2015, 1:08 PM EDT) -- SCRANTON, Pa. — A federal judge in Pennsylvania on Sept. 15 granted an insurer’s motion for summary judgment in an insurance breach of contract and bad faith lawsuit, ruling that an insured failed to provide any issues of material fact that would allow the claim to continue (Stephen Bodnar, et al. v. Nationwide Mutual Insurance Co., et al., No. 12-1337, M.D. Pa.; 2015 U.S. Dist. LEXIS 124504).
