11th Circuit Panel Affirms Dismissal Of Rule 60(d)(1) Action Against SEC
Mealey's (June 13, 2018, 9:18 AM EDT) -- ATLANTA — An 11th Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals panel on May 30 ruled that federal district court did not err in dismissing a pro se plaintiff’s amended Federal Rule of Civil Procedure 60(d)(1) complaint against the Securities and Exchange Commission because the plaintiff failed to meet the necessary statutory guidelines filing the complaint (Allen B. Gottlieb v. Securities and Exchange Commission, No. 17-13138, 11th Cir., 2018 U.S. App. LEXIS 14493).
