U.S. House: No Reason To Defer Addressing Merits Of ACA Challenge

Mealey's (September 24, 2015, 3:44 PM EDT) -- WASHINGTON, D.C. — Litigating both the merits of a case challenging the administration’s use of Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (ACA) funds and a request for interlocutory appeal is well within the resources of both parties, the U.S. House of Representatives told a federal judge in the District of Columbia on Sept. 23 (United States House of Representatives v. Sylvia Mathews Burwell, et al., No. 14-1967, D. D.C.).
