Nevada Supreme Court: Land Buyer Not Misled About Water Rights Availability

(September 21, 2015, 3:09 PM EDT) -- CARSON CITY, Nev. — A panel of the Nevada Supreme Court on Sept. 17 said a land developer was not misled about the availability of water rights in a failed land deal and reversed a $1.6 million counterclaim verdict in favor of the seller for alleged abuse of process by the buyer for a separate action (Land Baron Investments, Inc., et al. v. Bonnie Springs Family Limited Partnership, et al., No. 59687, Nev. Sup.; 2015 Nev. LEXIS 78).
