R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Co. Dismissed From Exploding E-Cigarette Suit

Mealey's (April 16, 2018, 2:18 PM EDT) -- KALAMAZOO, Mich. — A federal judge in Michigan on March 27 granted a motion to dismiss a tobacco company from an exploding e-cigarette suit and substitute the tobacco company’s subsidiary, which makes and sells the allegedly defective e-cigarette (Ronald Sumner v. R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Co., No. 1:18-CV-306, W.D. Mich.).
