Judge Limits Birth-Control Mandate Injunction To Existing Regulations

Mealey's (June 15, 2015, 1:33 PM EDT) -- WASHINGTON, D.C. — An injunction enjoining implementation of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (ACA) contraceptive mandate applies only to existing regulations, not future changes, a District of Columbia federal judge held Oct. 24, 2014 (Johnson Welded Products Inc., et al. v. Sylvia M. Burwell, et al., No. 13-609, D. D.C.).
