Mealey's (February 8, 2018, 2:13 PM EST) -- SAN ANTONIO — The Fourth District Texas Court of Appeals on Jan. 31 reversed and remanded a trial court’s denial of summary judgment in favor of an insured on breach of contract and bad faith claims after determining that the insurer’s timely payment of the insured’s property damage claim following an appraisal proceeding extinguished the insured’s claims for breach of contract and bad faith (Wellington Insurance Co., et al. v.
