State, Federal Trade Secret Misappropriation Claims Survive Dismissal Motions

(January 18, 2018, 12:37 PM EST) -- NASHVILLE, Tenn. — A fundraising company that brought state and federal misappropriation of trade secrets claims against several of its former employees has pleaded more than just vague allegations in claiming that the defendants misappropriated the trade secret information and violated provisions of their employment agreements when they went to work for a direct competitor, a federal judge in Tennessee ruled Jan. 16 in granting in part and denying in part the defendants’ motions to dismiss (Great American Opportunities v.
