Judge Dismisses District’s Suit Challenging Federal Takeover Of Water Project

Mealey's (September 9, 2015, 12:19 PM EDT) -- MISSOULA, Mont. — A Montana federal judge on Aug. 19 granted the United States’ motion to dismiss a lawsuit by the Flathead Irrigation District that attempted to stop federal resumption of the Flathead Irrigation Project (Flathead Irrigation District, et al. v. Sarah ‘Sally’ Jewell, et al., No. 14-88, D. Mont., Missoula Div.; 2015 U.S. Dist. LEXIS 109728).
