Ohio Court Finds Injury Claims Against Stable Are Barred By Equine Law

(September 2, 2015, 8:32 AM EDT) -- DAYTON, Ohio — After finding that a stable worker voluntarily placed herself in the vicinity of horses and engaged in an equine activity, an Ohio appeals court on April 21 affirmed a trial court's ruling finding that all of her injury-related claims against the owner of the stable were barred by equine law (Carrie Cornett v. Red Stone Group Inc., et al., No. 26657, Ohio App., 2nd Dist.; 2015 Ohio LEXIS 3277).
