Clean Water Rule Lawsuit Dismissed; Judge Says It Belongs In Circuit Court

(August 27, 2015, 1:28 PM EDT) -- CLARKSBURG, W.Va. — A West Virginia federal judge on Aug. 26 dismissed a coal mining company’s Clean Water Rule lawsuit, saying that under established case law, the challenge belongs in a federal appeals court (Murray Energy Corporation v. United States Environmental Protection Agency, et al., No. 14-110, N.D. W.Va.).
