Woman: Hospital’s Negligence Led To Husband’s Brain Injury, Vegetative State

(August 25, 2015, 9:39 AM EDT) -- JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — A woman who contends that the medical staff at a U.S. naval hospital negligently caused her husband to suffer a traumatic brain injury, leaving him in a permanent vegetative state, on Aug. 11 sued the U.S. government for damages (Christina L. Hollis, et al. v. United States of America, No. 15-cv-898, M.D. Fla.).
