New York Judge Finds Association Can Pursue Legal Malpractice Claims
Mealey's (August 25, 2015, 8:58 AM EDT) -- NEW YORK — A condominium owner’s association sufficiently stated counterclaims for legal malpractice against a law firm that represented it in an earlier construction defects lawsuit, a New York judge ruled Aug. 6 in denying the firm’s motion to dismiss (Kagan Lubic Lepper Finkelstein & Gold LLP v. 325 Fifth Avenue Condominium, et al., No. 151878/15, N.Y. Sup., New York Co.; 2015 N.Y. Misc. LEXIS 2884).
